Insurance Expert Marc Bachmann (1965) joined the claims service of Helvetia in 1984 after completing his business degree. In 1991, after language and study stays in the USA and Latin America, he joined Elvia Versicherung and worked as a Management Assistant for the CEO and the Head of Regional Management Eastern Switzerland. In 1994 he moved as Key Account Manager to Bachmann & Co. Zug, which then operated the general agency of the Alpina Insurance Company. From 1998 until the founding of the company bachmann & partner ag in 2001 he was the third generation to head the Alpina general agency Zug/Schwyz.

Marc Bachmann is a federally certified Insurance Expert. He continued his education at the higher economics and administration school to become a graduate in business management, and gained a degree of Business Economist HWV in 1991.
